Sr Manager, Supply Chain - Florence KY - Automotive aftermarket parts distribution - Responsible for leading SC team at 2 sites in mid-west. Looking for strong Supply Chain leaders not a Planner or Buyer. Deliverables include: Increasing inventory turns, Customer Fill rates, reduction in backorders and increasing forecasting accuracy. Must have BA degree and have supervised Planners and Analysts. Will manage team of 9 Planners and Analysts.
Responsibilities for the Manager
Lead Supply Chain Teams at 2 sites who are responsible for automotive parts inventory management, parts forecasting and planning, supplier performance tracking and scheduling, freight and department cost control, as well as, kitting production plan.
Single Leader and link among Operations and Supply Chain teams and Product Management, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Quality and Finance departments.
Drives cost reduction projects and feasibility studies of current or future business
Requirements for the Manager
Logistics or Business Administration Degree or equivalent with focus on Operations and Supply Chain.
5 years of similar experience with spare parts supply chain, preferable in automotive industry.
Solid understanding of supply chain best practices (inventory control, demand forecasting, planning and supplier scheduling).
Strong oral and written English language skills are mandatory; Second language as such Spanish would be an asset.
Extensive knowledge of computer systems, ERP (AS400, Oracle, SAP, etc.), Data Warehouse, as well as, solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word)
Ability to travel 30% to Meritor facilities, customers and suppliers.
