Our client, located in Florence, KY, is looking for a Contract Project Coordinator for their Purchasing Department.
In this position, the Project Coordinator must have the following skills:
Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
MUST have excellent communication skills (will be interacting with all Purchasing staff members, management, and Director of Purchasing)
Proficient with extrapolation, compilation, and concatenation of data from multiple sources
Proficient with SAP (preferred)
Ability to work under multiple deadlines, coordinating project statuses, collection and compilation of data/responses o Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
Our client is NOT looking for an administrative person (e.g., travel, phones, etc.)
Bachelors degree and/or One to two years of experience in a projects-related role
Technically competent with various software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
Flexible during times of change
Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including many departments within the business and company
Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise
Strong written and oral communication skills
Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products Customer service skills an asset
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
