Inventory Control Analyst

Inventory Analyst will ensure raw materials and WIP inventory is accurate. They will investigate and resolve root causes of inventory discrepancies. They will also ensure parts of available for manufacturing to meet the production schedule.
This is a temp to hire position, first shift.with a target pay range of $17-19/hr.
Responsibilities include:
- Adjust inventory, investigate, review and analyze daily inventory adjustments and changes.
- Perform cycle counts frequently
- Assist with weekly reports and analysis of inventory control results and activities.
- Analyze inventory metrics and recommend improvements
- Audit applications and processes to ensure data integrity
- Analyze data and audit processes (e.g., obsolescence, excess, expired, returns and inventory movement) to minimize write-offs.
- Occasional back up responsibilities for production planning and control
Experience and Education
= College degree
- Five Years experience in inventory control procedures and practices
- Lean Manufacturing background preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of MRP, AMS and Crystal Reports
- Proven track record of working independently and within a team environment
- Forklift experience a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
