Job DetailsOur firm is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Integration Manager (this is a contract to hire opportunity) to join our team.
This exciting role is at the heart of our business, developing an accounting integration playbook for major transaction cycles including billing, revenue recognition, payables, treasury, and corporate accounting.
You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing the financial aspects of our mergers and acquisitions, ensuring compliance with SOX controls, and overseeing revenue recognition.
Responsibilities:
1.
Overseeing the financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring all accounting aspects are handled efficiently and effectively.
2.
Ensuring compliance with SOX controls and other relevant regulations, identifying any potential risks or issues, and implementing remedial actions as necessary.
3.
Managing revenue recognition processes, ensuring all revenues are accurately recorded and reported.
4.
Collaborating with legal and financial teams to ensure all contracts are financially sound and legally compliant.
5.
Providing financial expertise and advice to the senior management team, supporting strategic decision-making processes.
6.
Continuously reviewing and improving financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
7.
Preparing and presenting financial reports and forecasts to stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree and 5
years experience in accounting, as well as proven experience in managing the financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
