We are actively searching for a quality candidate to fill the role of Customer Service Representative (Teller) in our Florence branch.
The right candidate will possess a positive and can-do attitude, work well independently and in a team environment, be dependable, detail oriented and dedicated to making a difference for our customers and our company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operate a teller window including accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments, accepting checks for cash all while identifying the customer and ensuring checks are properly completed and endorsed as according to applicable banking regulations.
Prepare a daily settlement of cash drawer while utilizing balancing procedures and reconciling when out of balance.
Debit Cards - issue, replace, change limits, cancellation, and fraud review Internet/Mobile Banking - troubleshoot transactions; reset passwords, and additional tasks Credit Cards - liaison for the customer to the issuer Perform branch audits and produce reports IRA - review all IRA's Opening new accounts, inclusive of online accounts, while following proper procedures Cross-selling additional products and services.
You must be educated on the services, procedures, and policies of the company and be aware of specific laws and applicable regulations.
Must present a professional image to the customer, dress appropriately, have a pleasant speaking voice, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and represent the institution in a professional manner.
The ability to multi-task during your entire shift is necessary.
Regular and punctual attendance.
Willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
Schedules are made for a month and provided 2 weeks prior to the scheduled month.
Able to work closely with fellow co-workers towards achieving the goals of the organization Technical Skills - Troubleshooting, familiarity with different browsers, file types, and mobile operating systems, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook and proficient and skilled in Excel), balancing accounting work.
Fast learner/Self Motivated - problem solving and decision-making skills; committed to quality Detail oriented/Organized Ability to perform physical activities that require:
sitting for extended periods performing data entry use of arms and hands for reaching, grasping, typing ability to lift up to 15 pounds bending, stooping, standing, and walking EXPERIENCE &
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED certificate, or demonstrated ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in order to maintain required records.
