Job summaryAWS Infrastructure is looking for a talented and driven, Failure Analysis Lab Operations Manager for our Reverse Logistics process with demonstrated experience driving process improvement.
This role is a Manager role who will lead of team of Managers and Technical Leads responsible for day-to-day operations and expanding testing capacity for the next generation Reverse Logistics for Amazon Web Services for successful decommissioning of retired hardware.
This role requires a blend of strong technical aptitude with AWS hardware to develop and iterate on new processes and capabilities, and drive continuous improvement activities for existing workflows.
All while exceeding the AWS safety and security requirements.
Reverse Logistics is critical to protecting AWS and its customers, while freeing up DC capacity and driving maximum reuse for sustainability and financial benefits.
This is a new organization and requires a strong thought leader to support the scaling challenges of the lab.
This role will lead a team performing failure analysis testing of Data Center Hardware components using a variety of testing rigs.
The team receives parts, maintains inventory, and checks-out parts as needed.
This team is also responsible for loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations.
Key job responsibilitiesCreate leadership and workflow mechanisms to remove roadblocks to meet operational goals.
Cross-functional collaboration across multiple business teams, Operations, Commercials, Program Management and Finance leadership.
Perform deep dive analysis and operational workflow plans to expand testing capacity for additional hardware components.
Document writing and presentations on key initiatives used to influence necessary business actions benefiting the site.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
